Before you book
You need an existing gas line and shut-off. Look behind your current stove: you should see a gas pipe with a valve. If you're switching from electric to gas, a new gas line has to go in first, and that isn't part of an install.
Check the outlet. Most gas ranges still plug into a standard outlet for the igniters, clock and oven light.
Send the model number. We check the width (30, 36 or 48 inches), the cut-out for cooktops and any clearance the manual calls for under a range hood.
