Whether it's a pair side by side in the basement or a stacked set in a condo closet, we connect it, vent it, level it and run it so it doesn't walk across the floor on the first spin cycle.
What's included
- Old washer and dryer disconnected and pulled out (and taken away if you ask)
- Washer connected to the existing hot and cold taps and drain
- Dryer connected to the existing outlet and vent with a proper vent connection
- Stacking kit installed for stacked pairs, or pedestals if you bought them
- Both units levelled and tested with a short run
Stacked laundry and laundry towers
Most front-load pairs can stack if the maker sells a stacking kit for that model. The kit is usually sold separately, so order it with your washer and dryer and have it on site. All-in-one laundry towers come ready to stand as one unit; we place, connect, vent and level them the same way.
Condo laundry
Condo closets are tight and buildings have rules. Book the service elevator and move-in time with your building, tell us any building rules when you book, and we'll plan the install around them.
Gas dryers
Gas hookups available. We install gas dryers where a gas line and shut-off are already in place.
Before install day
- New units on site, plus the stacking kit or pedestals if you're using them
- New fill hoses and a dryer vent kit, or ask us when you book and we'll tell you what to get
- Existing taps, drain, dryer outlet and vent in place
- A clear path to the laundry area

Washer and dryer FAQ
How much does washer and dryer installation cost?
Most installs start around $155 for one unit, $210 for a side-by-side pair and $240 for a stacked pair, labour only, plus HST. Gas dryers are from $275.
Can any washer and dryer be stacked?
Only if the maker sells a stacking kit for those models. Check the manual or the product page, and have the kit on site on install day.
Do you install washers and dryers in condos?
Yes. Book the service elevator with your building and tell us the building rules when you book.
Do I need new hoses?
New fill hoses are a good idea with a new washer. Have them on site, or ask when you book and we'll tell you what to get.
Do you install gas dryers?
Yes. Gas hookups are available where an existing gas line and shut-off are in place.
Do you take the old washer and dryer away?
Yes. Ask when you book. Removal is from $70 per unit and includes disposal.
Can you run a new dryer vent through the wall?
We connect to your existing vent. A new hole through an exterior wall is quoted separately or done by another trade.
